It has been a year since I last blogged. Much has happened since then, mainly I moved to Denver, started a new job, and new life adventures. In all my adventure making I have gained about 20 pounds all the while being plant based or vegan. Over the year, I have embraced the term vegan and it feels good! I have decided to start blogging again and doing something about my weight gain, mainly lose it!!! So I will blog my weight loss journey as a way to keep myself honest!!
My first step is that I decided to join Forks Over Knives Meal Planner online. I need some sort of organized way of doing this especially since I tend to get off track quickly during the work week. This way I will have a guide/menu to follow. I have downloaded this weeks sample plan to give it a go! I took the shopping list to Trader Joe’s this afternoon and it was nice to shop for what was needed and less shopping of the cravings (junk food). Next is doing the weeks prep work so that my evening meals during the week are quick and easy.
